Fuji
Fuji have released a new BB Dark Shiny Grey framed guide and tips in the Alconite ring range but we expect other rings later in the year with this frame colour. This new frame colour complements the existing CC Silver Matte and BC Matte Grey options.
Fuji also have some very interesting new finishing spatulas for applying epoxy onto guide wraps. They are reuseable, made from a silicon material which I'm sure they have tested for no reaction with the epoxies we use.
Alps
The image above shows a build up with the new slim diameter slick butts from Alps which are light weight and great for spinning rod applications. These will be popular with boat fisherman for use in their rodholders - easy to get in and out with no more damaged rear EVA grips. The slick butts come in 3 sizes - 8", 10" and 12".
