THREAD FINISH, ADHESIVES AND CORK SEALERS

In August 2022, the thread finishes, adhesives and cork seals that we had been importing were suddenly prohibited as these goods were now classified as dangerous goods in the US.
Our supplier has worked through these issues over the last 11 months and we now have stock available again. We will continue to build the full range over July and August. If you want to purchase 32oz Threadmaster or Gen 4 or any other products we haven't stocked yet, please contact us.

CRB CORE HAND WRAPPER

If you’re new to rod building or are not ready to invest in a lathe, the CRB Core Hand Wrapper could be the right tool for you. It’s compact, so you can still build or repair a rod in limited space. It comes complete with an adjustable rod stand, single spool thread carriage and integrated thread tensioner. Extra support stands and bases are also available.

NEW FUJI K SERIES "O" RING GUIDES

Fuji have just released a new slim "O" ring guide as part of their K-series flagship collection which now makes this series affordable for everyone. There are also matching tips in F, LG and MG Frames. Rod builders are using K-Series guides for their tangle-free operation, incredible frame strength, superb ring retention and striking good looks. The BC/CC Slim "O" Ring Guides suit both spinning and casting applications. The new Slim "O" ring has a larger internal diameter (ID) compared to the standard ring of the same size, so it provides greater knot clearance for bulky knots to shoot through.

2023 AFTA Tackle Trade Show

I’ll be at the Rod Builder’s Rendezvous which is being held this year on the Public Day, Saturday 5th August, 12pm, upstairs at the Gold Coast Exhibition Centre. Fuji will showcase new and future product releases including the new Fuji K frame O Ring guides. New thread releases will include the Fuji EZ thread.

Other new thread releases include Speed Metallics and C Size, NOCP colours.
United Tackle have also been increasing the Sabre G3 Blank Range and will have the new G3 6’6” models and heavier line classes that haven’t previously been available. I’m looking forward to having a feel of those.
It would be great to see you there and build the custom fishing rod building community in Australia.
